Examining a service design process

The process of squeezing

insights out of any stated issue

When I was a grad student at University of Washington, in a quarter of working with John Rousseau, Design director at Frog at the time, the grad studio worked on a sample subject, laundry, to examine the process of design thinking and service design in solving random problems that exist for that subject. The team did preliminary and secondary research together and each person took lead on one aspect to come up with solutions.

To understand the documentation method and the research process, which is in case of this project are more important than the final design, you can see the presentation here.
